For those who have showed an interest and have been waiting for my steel string instructional DVD, it is available now for pre-order. Once again there are over 1400 pictures and step by step audio instructions to guide you through each step of the building process.

"If you have wondered how a guitar goes together, want to take on building a guitar, or want to solve some of your basic construction problems, you will enjoy this DVD." Kent Everett of Everett guitars

Thanks Jeff for your compliments on my classical guitar building DVD!! I am glad you are learning a lot and if you have any questions during the process feel free to contact me. There has been talk of marketing the GUITAR BUILDER'S CAN OF WHOOP ASS. It certainly does help you get out of those diffcult building situations! For those who purchased the classical building DVD I would be interested in knowing your thoughts on the product.
The steel string DVD is getting its final review today and will be shipped to LMI and duplication MOnday morning. It features music by our own Tracy Leveque playing on a guitar he built with me.
I "power down" a bit in this DVD and actually do a few more things with hand tools. One of them is show how to thickness a top using a hand plane.
I also show how I bind my fretboard and how to apply a gel varnish finish. I know you will enjoy it.

One thing that either I missed or wasn't in the classical DVD was glue. What kind of glue are you using? I presume titebond... but considering that you are shipping this with all of the LMI kits that seems like a point worth noting.

But again... maybe I just missed it.

You are correct. I use regular titebond throughout.
